WOODPECKER LODGE – ACCOMMODATION

The lodge is set amongst large bushveld trees with views of the Bush, the Drakensberg Mountains and is near to one of the dams on the estate. The thatched roof gives it that real “bushveld’ feel.

We provide four (4) Double Rooms so maximum capacity is up to 8 guests providing for a quiet, restful bushveld getaway.

Maximum of two people per room.

Two Rooms (Rooms 1 & 3) have two single beds with full en-suite bathrooms. Air conditioners and ceiling fans are installed.

Two Rooms (Rooms 2 & 4) have one double bed (Queen Size) with full en-suite bathrooms. Air conditioners and ceiling fans are installed.

Each of the rooms has a small bar fridge for guests to keep their beverages cold.

All rooms have two bedside windows fitted with insect screens.

Filtered water is provided on arrival. Additional filtered water available as required.

Tea, coffee, coffee creamer, milk, sugar and rusks are supplied to rooms for the early risers daily.

We are strictly a Bed & Breakfast concern. Accommodation offered is not self-catering.

NO self-catering facilities to prepare meals and/or braai are available for guests.

Please note we do not provide lunch or dinners nor permit self-catering/use of kitchen.

Consumption of “Take-Aways” is permitted on our verandah.

There are 12 Restaurants, pubs and take away facilities within 5 km of Woodpecker Lodge.

We can happily advise where to go. Come and enjoy some new and different fine meals from places that are privately owned. (Non- franchised). There is really good food served here in Hoedspruit!

There is a TV lounge for viewing – there are NO televisions in any bedrooms.
